Jane nodded with a small sigh She'd been confident her elixir would work, but still--one couldn't help having a bit of anxiety when dispensing a potion to a friend. She sat back with folded hands, patiently waiting for her friend to collect herself. Violet saw her mother fall back on her pillows with a pang of anxiety, but caught the words Your potion works and immediately pushed open the door and strode over to the bed. "It worked!? I knew it would. So--what do you remember?" Violet reached out as if to take her mother's hands, but Jane restrained her with a slight frown.
