Lovely™ | Captain Hurted | Ariana's Bane | Resident Antagonist | Unparalleled Delight Hands in pockets, school tie loosened, top shirt button undone, Charlie strolled into the Great Hall with little more than the impending summer on his mind. There was, after all, nothing else to concern himself with; the school year was behind them and so not worth his notice, his health had been relatively steady these last few months, and there weren't even any dramas currently keeping him entertained. He'd be fixing that in the coming days, probably.
First, though, the feast. Charlie took up a seat at the table that happened to be near a whole bunch of elderly citizens (read: sixth and seventh years), making sure that they blocked him, more or less, from the direct eye line of most of the staff members up on the dais. Not that he was exactly planning anything, but you know. In case the opportunity arose. It wasn't like he was perfectly shielded, but his habit was to stay partially concealed if possible and if appropriate for the context.
Not knowing any of those currently nearby Charlie didn't offer any kind of greeting. He just sat quietly, watching the hall, as he could see each of the house tables from where he sat. Maybe he'd see about meeting with Eli over the summer, maybe inviting him round; Charlie had never been keen on inviting anyone to the house, but with so many siblings, it was almost inevitable that it would happen sooner or later, or already had. Mostly, Charlie was itching to stretch his wings, as it were. After finally leaving the castle, he wasn't about to be cooped up in his village too. No. He intended to have some fun this summer. |
