When he reached the final area, he decided to stand in the middle and catch his breath- as best he could, anyways. He had a good guess about what the final creature was, and he was relieved that it would be harmless and small. But the creature he expected was quite fast, and Brandon didn't want to be fast and chase things. Instead, he stood there shaking like a leaf and wanting to cry like a statue, waiting for the creature to reveal itself.
Maybe he could use magic to complete this challenge. Or maybe he could befriend the creature and it would decide to take pity on him so that they could both just get this over with... As Brandon reached the final obstacle, the Quidditch pitch he would notice right away that it was an average pitch, only scaled down in size. Leaning against the stands were even several brooms and some safety gear. And if Brandon were to listen closely he would hear the faint sound of what could only be a.. snitch? Or uhhh.. was that multiple golden snitches?! No, that couldn't be right now, could it? Better look more closely for a small creature very similar to that of a snitch. Now how are you meant to capture it? Quote:

If so, it was very, very rare and, as she remembered reading, rather fragile. Hope didn't dare try to catch it with her hands, she might injure it. "What do you think, Jerry?" she said to her loyal moke companion, still on her shoulder after all the boggart trauma. "Could you summon a creature with magic, do you think?" Well, it was worth a try. "Accio, snidget!" Hope intoned, point her want in the general direction of the tiny bird.
She wasn't really at all sure she had come anywhere near her target, but, whether it was magic or just curiosity, suddenly, for just a moment, there was a little, fluffy, nearly-weightless golden creature perched on Hope's outstretched hand that held her wand. For a brief and yet seemingly-endless moment, they all froze there in time and space, just looking at each other--Hope, the golden snidget, and the tiny moke.
Then abruptly the snidget whizzed off again and at the same time, the moke seemed to vanish from Hope's shoulder, and she was left standing alone, at the end of the course. That dear child could be considered sheer curiosity and luck. Accioing a Snidget won't work here. Best to try something else and look around very closely. Did hope take notice of the brooms and other safety gear near the Quidditch stands, just in case? How about the several true golden snitches that were actively zipping around the pitch to try to confuse Hope so she wouldn't be able to keep track of the one and only true Snidget. Surely there was another way to get a hold of this very small harmless creature?
