Maria waved to Desiree with a smile as the one year older girl joined their group. "Hi Desiree!" She would need to have her head on straight if she wanted to pass all the obstacles in the mini course. She did though think that balance and speed could be important factors too. When it was time line up after the intro she took her place in the line after Kion. She gave her boyfriend the 5 minute head start, and then she was off on the signal from Professor Khanna. As she approached the murky pond Maria took out her wand from it's holster, and waited for the eerily still water to come to life. They weren't supposed to walk out into the water to get to the next obstacle right?
