Alissa thought this lesson was very interesting! She already knew some things about the International Confederation of Wizards, but she was also learning lots of things she didn't know! And now they were going to have a debate? That was fun. She was already thinking about how she was going to write about this lesson in her next letter home. Her dad would definitely approve. She just needed to think of an interesting discussion topic.

She turned her head toward Anna as she started voicing some thoughts. It seemed like she was mostly talking to Solomon, but Alissa was there too. She did notice when they started holding hands. Interesting. Was there something going on between them? Alissa made a mental note to ask her about that later. But for now, she need to concentrate on discussion topics. "I like that point about ghosts," she said with a smile. Professor Fergusnout had said they could work individually or in groups, but she wasn't sure if it made more sense to submit one idea as a group or if they should still submit multiple. She had an idea, though, so she might as well submit it. She tore a strip off the bottom of her parchment and wrote down her idea.

Alissa got up to add her idea to the goblet of fire. When it had been consumed by the magical flames, she took her seat again.
