Eliza hadn't said anything out loud yet, but that didn't mean she hadn't been thinking. Her first thought about a governing body was the prefects and head students here at Hogwarts. They were at least what most people here at school would be familiar with, and if they weren't, well then they were living under a rock.
Oh! So they were focusing on the Ministry of Magic. That was interesting, considering Eliza's grandfather used to be the Minister of Magic. She doubted anyone around here even knew his name, though. What were some issues that concerned everybody in the wizarding world? Well, definitely not something the prefects and head students were concerned with. Underage magic and muggles came to mind. That always seemed to be a big topic with magical people.
Mugwump. What a name. Wonder who came up with that one? Anyway, she didn't really know what other things the ICW was concerned with. Not if the professor wanted an answer other than muggles. She eyed the setup of the classroom. She didn't know how she felt about participating in a conference. Could she just observe or something? She had a feeling her position on house elves was a lot different than those of her classmates.
Her eyes widened when Anna mentioned doing away with house points. No way. That'd be super boring, and Eliza would personally miss the challenge! House points were legendary! On that note, she took out a piece of parchment and jotted down:
Quote:
Keep the house points system!
She headed up front and added the parchment to the Goblet of Fire.
