She stirred awake when Sloane nudged her. "Wasn't sleeping," she mumbled. "Not... tired......" She yawned, then opened her eyes wide and sat upright. "Did we win? Did we beat lord something something?" This was VERY IMPORTANT. She stood up, collecting her trash so she could clean up before dealing with the tape.

Sometimes, Sloane couldn’t help but try to fix the world. Maybe it was because of the way her brothers would always protect her from things, or at least try to protect her, that it made want to protect others from pain. Sitting there with a small, sleepy Phoebe, it was hard not to try and protect her from people who were unnecessarily mean. One thing that she’d also learned was that people also need to learn how to stand up for themselves.

“You were sleeping…and drooling,” she teased with a small smile across her lips. “and yes, the world was saved by the donkey, the princess and the ogre.” Collecting her own blanket, Sloane made a move to go and rewind the tape, ready for the next person who wanted to watch it. “So, onto Shrek 2?” she joked, not putting the tape back into the box it came in.
