As the mirror is touched, its surface begins to ripple as if one had dropped a stone into a pond. A shadow appears, small at first but gradually growing and swirling to the place where the student’s hand touched. The shadow’s appearance is followed by loud noise. WHOOSH!

Suddenly a blinding flash erupts from the mirror, engulfing the area in bright light.
