Hogwarts RPG Name: Cameron Rhodes Ravenclaw Fourth Year Hogwarts RPG Name: Phoebe Calypso [s]Dupont[/s] Slytherin Seventh Year Hogwarts RPG Name: Charlie Fox-Matthews Hufflepuff Second Year | Which came first, the phoenix or the flame? SPOILER!!: Bestie Sloane Quote:

Sloane hadn’t been sure about Phoebe at first. She’d honestly found her a little strange and annoying but as she watched her closer, she was very much herself, albeit slightly self-conscious and worrisome and this was something that Sloane could understand. “You sure are, Phoeb’s. “You want to be tall and hated by a lot of people? Shrek didn’t always have the best of times, y’know? It turned out alright for him but it was hard too. I think you’re doing just fine as you are,” offering her a small, reassuring smile. Just let someone try to say something mean to her. Focusing her attention on the video tape, she gave it a once over after taking it out of its case and nodded in agreement. “I think you’re right. At least who ever used it last had rewound it. We should do that before we go,” she added as an afterthought. Letting Phoebe take the tape, she watched as she placed it into the player before going back to the seat where her drink and popcorn lay waiting for her. “Sure. It’s SHREK TIME!”
Pulling her blanket from around herself, Sloane draped it over her legs and torso and sat back, ready for the ogre to throw everyone out of his swamp! Invent-ious was when you got back at people, Phoebe was pretty sure. It made NO sense at all, but Batman said it all the time.
Phoebe thought very hard at Sloane's words. "Well, I don't want to be hated by a lot of people," she decided. Her stomach formed twisty knots at the thought, and she frowned as her small face contorted into a look of worry. "But if I had to be hated by a lot of people, I'd rather be able to reach the high-up shelves without their help." It was hard to be independent when you were small and clumsy and un-scary. Though it was hard to make friends when you were big and scary and green. Phoebe felt bad for Mr. Shrek. But on the flip side, Sloane thought she was doing just fine! "It's really nice of you to say that, Sloane." She smiled a little, and then climbed into her giant movie chair to settle down with her snacks and her blanket (her legs were too short to touch the ground). GIANT CAFFEINE SODA in hand, she had her eyes glued to the screen as they watched the movie.
She tried her best to be quiet, but she couldn't stop herself from making quiet exclamations at the best parts. She'd never ever in her whole life seen Shrek before! |
