Of course, she loved Batman. That tracked and she should have honestly expected it. With a small chuckle, Sloane pulled her blanket tighter around her shoulder and eyed her fellow first year, half amused and half exasperated as she flapped her imaginary bat wings. Sloane hadn’t been sure about Phoebe at first. She’d honestly found her a little strange and annoying but as she watched her closer, she was very much herself, albeit slightly self-conscious and worrisome and this was something that Sloane could understand. “You sure are, Phoeb’s.

“You want to be tall and hated by a lot of people? Shrek didn’t always have the best of times, y’know? It turned out alright for him but it was hard too. I think you’re doing just fine as you are,” offering her a small, reassuring smile. Just let someone try to say something mean to her. Focusing her attention on the video tape, she gave it a once over after taking it out of its case and nodded in agreement. “I think you’re right. At least who ever used it last had rewound it. We should do that before we go,” she added as an afterthought. Letting Phoebe take the tape, she watched as she placed it into the player before going back to the seat where her drink and popcorn lay waiting for her. “Sure. It’s SHREK TIME!”

Pulling her blanket from around herself, Sloane draped it over her legs and torso and sat back, ready for the ogre to throw everyone out of his swamp!
