Though there were many historical conflicts she could have named for the first question, Florence had opted to remain silent and let her other classmates offer their answers. She liked having the answers herself, but she didn't want to hog all of the attention, right? That would be rude, and then she'd look like a know-it-all. Which, well, she did know a lot of things, especially about history thanks to her gran. But there was no need for everyone to know that right off the bat.
She would answer the next one though. The Slytherin had no intention of being entirely silent in a lesson. So she raised her hand.
"They also don't like big complicated discussions," she said. "So even if you are trying to resolve something verbally, you have to simplify it to their level before they decide to just fight you instead."
