"It is nice to be back in the company of adults," she added in agreement.

"Flourish and Blotts," she answered, taking a sip of her coffee. "I'm a book binder," she elaborated, which hadn't necessarily been the career she pictured for herself, but she enjoyed it nonetheless. She actually liked it far more than she had anticipated, and here she was, three years later, still working with her beloved books.

She bit her lip and tried not to laugh at the mess he made, but then he tried to wipe it up with his jumper - and she was not about to let him mess up his sweater like that! "Here," she said quickly, handing him a napkin. She supposed she could have cleaned it up with her wand as well but...she had napkins more readily available. "What are you doing at the studio? Are you a musician?" she asked curiously. He certainly had the hair for it.
Bowie wasn’t unenthusiastic about going to school, in fact there was very little that had him lacking in enthusiasm as he tried to remain upbeat about everything but he too couldn’t remember bouncing around off the walls and being as loud as some of the latest batch of students were. “I can’t entirely blame them, Hogwarts IS the most exciting school in the world” he chuckled. Sadly Bowie was not the perfect example of a mature adult either. “I can’t guarantee I’m the most adult of adults but I’ll try with the intellectual conversation.” Try as hard as he could anyway but he wasn’t the most well read.

Speaking of being well read, his companion obviously WAS of the intellectual type considering she worked in the bookshop. “Ah must’ve been absolutely chocka with kids buying their textbooks then.” Not his favourite part of shopping, those things were heavy and as a surprisingly small eleven-year-old who hadn’t learned any charms yet they were difficult to lug around.

There were no concerns over getting his sleeves dirty, his jumper was already a little holey and well loved and it was nothing a decent cleaning charm couldn’t handle but alas she handed over the napkins and the man would feel rude refusing them. “I do a bit of everything. Guitar, piano, vocals.. whatever they need me for really. I studied magical music production too at university so I can do all the technical side as well.” He was too much of a pushover to be a frontman, he didn’t have the showiness or pizzazz to make a name for himself and so he was satisfied being in the background.
