Out of all the things that Amelia missed most of Hogwarts, one of her favorite pasttimes was seeing the elves. They just deserved soooo much more and she wanted to visit them and pay them the respect that they truly deserved.
It was really fortunate that her new role at Hogwarts allowed such close proximity to the kitchens. And it felt like second nature as she walked up from the potions laboratory to the familiar corridor where the fruit bowl portrait hung.
