His father rarely offered him much advice, but when he did, Solly held onto it. He was a successful man, after all. With his growing bones, Solomon was hungry!!!!
He had made an extra effort to get to breakfast in the great hall, in fact had gotten up early for it. You would find him sat at the Slytherin table tucking straight in to his feast, beginning with dipping a finger of bread in an eggy solider.
Yum.
Aurora too had
actually grown over the summer although her petite frame had only managed an inch and a half to achieve the grand old height of 4’6.5 which for her was BIG news. She had also turned thirteen but that hadn’t particularly changed anything about her personality and she was still as bouncy and bubbly as ever. That was completely obvious by the skip that she did as she came skidding into the Great Hall for breakfast.
She would usually make a beeline for the Ravenclaw table, not because she wanted to sit there but sometimes it felt strange to automatically sit at another table without being invited by someone in that house. Today she wouldn’t have that problem however as she had spotted Solomon over at the far Slytherin table the second she had bounced her way through the grand doors. She wasn’t intending on sneaking up on him but she did approach from behind and wrap her arms around his neck in a big bear hug.
“Hiiiiiiiii!” she practically sang in his ear.
She didn’t even wait for Solomon to speak before hurdling the bench and sitting herself down next to him and grabbing a piece of toast from the table.
