Not to mention how many more topics this book shop had than any Kenneth had ever seen--Muggle shops famously lacked spellbooks and magical histories.

As his uncle took care of purchasing the required textbooks, Kenneth wandered up the stairs to a less crowded area of the shop. Less crowded with people, at least, he'd guesss that the the books per square meter measurement was consistently high throughout this place.

Finding a section of wizard fiction that sounded intriguing, Kenneth carefully extracted the most promising-looking books (based solely on the number of copies and their bindings) and carried his large little stack of novels to a chair to investigate further. Were these books for teenagers? For adults? What made novels for wizards different than novels for the new word he'd learned, Muggles?
Roman himself had come to frequent the bookshop whenever he was in Diagon lately, whether he was with his twin or not. Regina, fortunately for him, had decided to stay home today with V. He had asked his dad to drop him off here so he could get some errands run, but mostly that meant he wanted to spend gold on things HE wanted to get.

And things = books.

Lately, he wanted to read murder mysteries. He had devoured the books that had belonged to his Gran, both the English and French ones, and now he was on the prowl for more. He came to a stop next to another boy, and being much too shy to say anything first, he merely tilted his head to look at the stack the boy had gathered. His cheeks turned red, though, when he realized how bold this was, and he then turned his head rightways and took a step back.

"S-sorry-" he said quickly as he went to turn away.
