Is it really a surprise that Ascella's favourite place in Diagon Alley was the bookshop? On her last visit to the alley, she had been here, perusing the new arrivals and pondering which new title she'd be able to bring home. Today, she was here again. She'd been hoping to buy a new book for herself once more, but suppose she should save up a little before doing so. She had used her allowance last time for a new book, and she wasn't done reading it anyway. But that didn't mean she couldn't appreciate the other books even when she couldn't purchase anything, you know? Maybe she'd even pick one up and read a few chapters here herself. It's a good use of her time.
While she frequented the astronomy section, Ascella entertained the idea of trying something new out. Perhaps another fiction book, or something dedicated to creatures given she'd be a pet owl owner soon. The possibilities were endless for a child so curious about everything.
And if all else fails, astronomy again, it would be. Can't go wrong with that.
