Pimples were the most annoying things ever!
There was a small cluster of tiny ones on her right cheek and it made Nova very, very self conscious. She was so used to her skin being smooth and flawless. No, it wouldn’t do her any good to sit around doing nothing in the hopes that they would be gone in a blink of an eye. So, despite annoying Kennedy {okay, he wasn’t so annoying anymore} wanting to hang around with her, she had wasting no time in dragging him along to Madam Primpernelle’s for a Pimple Poofer.
Nova snuck a look at the boy at her side, trying to decide if she had annoyed him because she determinedly brought them here before any other stop in Diagon Alley. It was okay if he was mad with her; Nova didn’t care very much. She sort of figured out that he was immune to her sarcasm and attitude and what other negative traits she may have. “Remember, Pimple Poofer is what we’re looking for,’’ Nova reminded Kennedy, her gaze moving back to the shelves. |
