Theodore was technically just joking about not looking a day over 27, but he was low-key offended by Terry mentioning growing old gracefully. Let’s just not talk about being old, maybe? While his memory had faltered a little, physically he still felt pretty great. Despite his ventures in rock bottom during his adult years, he often didn’t let his strength and fitness take a back seat. “It’s only been…” quick math, “… 30 years since we graduated.” Give or take a few years. Maths wasn’t his strong point. He sighed heavily, “Jeez, it really has been that long, hasn’t it?” Sad.
He was pleased that his offer of a butterbeer catch up was accepted. Sometimes he got social stuff like that all wrong, for example, not offering guests to his house a drink when they visited. “Awesome.” Theodore handed one over after paying for two. “You see much of everyone from school?” He was genuinely curious about this one.
“Quidditch is long behind me.” He half heartedly smiled, thinking quickly back on those good times. Retiring at such an early age was common in such sports. “Well- not entirely… I work at the ministry now.” Snore, boring. “Pitch administration.” Nothing much to tell there, “how about you?”
