"Oh! Can we get a jar of candied pineapple too?" Because someone kept sneaking nibbles of them during non snack hours and before meals and in the middle of the night so they had run out at the home at a peculiarly quick pace. Someone, of course. Someone who may or may not have legs not long enough to reach the floor. "And no ham on the pizza. It makes my tummy feel icky. Double pineapple instead?"
Calliope loved playing the drums by herself...but it was even better when she got to sit on daddy's lap and he guided her through the motions. Muscle memory and all that fancy stuff mum tried to explain to her but she mostly ignored. "You knoooooow...the one that goes DUN dun dun tickticktick with the open hi-hat and the kick drum with the spooky notes to start," she attempted to explain while bouncing on his lap.
