~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ Claimed by Bits ❤️ ~ Queen of Typos ❄ Magical Mosh Pit ❄ It was definitely a good thing that Christopher didn’t laugh, otherwise Reagan would have punched him in the arm. Playfully, of course. “Well, you never know what game is afoot,’’ she declared, a heavy air of mystery surrounding her words. Not the ominous sort of mystery, but the sort that would tend to keep one hooked. “Yes, I suppose. Though… when you agreed, it seems like your ego got boosted a thousand times more. But I’ll let you have this moment.” So go ahead, Christopher. Enjoy it!
It was lots of fun getting to drag Christopher around. Admittedly it couldn’t exactly be classified as dragging when he was much stronger than she was; at least he was game with putting up with her. It turned out they needn’t go back a far distance. Before Rea knew it, they were right where she wanted to be. “Thank you!’’ Quite happily, she went through the door before turning abruptly to stare up at Christopher. “I just realised how much I must already put you off of your schedule. So um, it’s okay if you have to leave.” Yet part of her was saying it wasn’t okay because Reagan found herself hoping he didn’t have anything better to do. Or just as bad, be on his way to meet a beautiful woman for a date. The latter thought made her scowl and turn away to stalk into the shop. |
