Her legs were dangling still a bit over the stool, but now she was entirely too eager to fully care that she wouldn't be able to press down on them proper. She instead twirled the drum sticks around in her fingers like she had been practicing with her pencils and spoons at home. Drum sticks were a lot more balanced for such things than spoons were though. Which meant that she could very easily SLAM them down on ride cymbals.

Now Nigel had to wonder if all his jokes where that bad and beyond understanding. It would be his version of a mid life crisis and he was fast approaching the age for that. Another curse of his humor was making everyone including himself hungry. While he was fine with no jam...ice cream was a different story. Maybe he backed himself into a bit of a corner with that off handed compliment...but she was 5 so it was always possible she does end up being better and cant crush a kids dream this early in life.

That was what Hogwarts was for!

So rude to bring up the hair point even if it will wind up being true. Genetics is hard to beat. The beanie is trying its best to help Nigel but it could only do so much.

Yep, yep this is what a it sounds like when someone is just banging..jamming on the drums. Nothing to see here. Just being a typical pushover. He was just going to grab the items she wanted while she was in the zone.
