"Good afternoon," Ed replied softly, almost automatically. He nodded to the professor's instructions to relaaaax and tried a little shoulder shrug and exhale. Right. He had his whole life ahead of him, he wasn't in some sort of competition to win at life, he was fine. Fine fine fine.
Uhhhh. "Outside of Hogwarts? Why was he drawing a blank? "I like..." Wait!!! She was getting ahead of him!! Ed shuffled forward to stay approximately at the professor's elbow. "I like this. This stuff. Like, walking and hiking and stuff like that." What else what else what else could he say that wouldn't sound too dull and dreadful....? "I go to my friends' quidditch matches sometimes," he admitted, adding 'but not often enough' in his head after. "I enjoy... eating. I think the house elves are REALLY good cooks, like the food is much better than what I get at home." Good answer, good answer!!! He scratched at the few nearly invisible hairs on his chin. "I like visiting the magical creatures we have fewer at the school, especially the smaller ones...." They were easy. Definitely didn't require much magic to care for them. Was this enough yet? He let out a frustrated sigh and shoved his hands deep in his pockets.
"Do many wizards end up working Muggle jobs?" The question might have seemed out of the blue but it was something that had been weighing on Edric's mind ever since the discussion of life after graduation had consumed this school year.
