In her head she had been anyway. Expectations versus reality could have quite the gap sometimes though.

Anna was still ducking down and sort of half under the Hufflepuffle table while she observed him. She really had not thought this the whole way through though since she was only staring at the back of his blonde head and even if his ears were wiggling a bit while he performed some facial expression or another...she really did not know what kind of face he was making. He was smiling, right? Surely he was smiling. It had to be SO NICE receiving confirmation of reciprocated sentiment!

Anna did not and likely would never consider herself a cupid - and she didn't consider herself one right now either. It was a little more complicated and maybe even a little messy. Perhaps with a couple cups worth of wistfullness too.

Slooooooooowly...she lifted herself a little more so her whole head was above the top of the table and continued to watch the back of his head for further indication of anything.
