He was fascinated, distracted and amazed for a few moments, not really listening to how long Aurora had to spend in the shop, because in his mind they were to hang out for the rest of the afternoon. “Did you see that?” Solomon grinned with his teeth, glancing back to Aurora quickly.

I will look it up.” He informed her, although knowing that he 100% would not be looking this up any time soon. As for whether to ask the shopkeeper or not, Solomon quickly said, “No… no… the shopkeeper looks far too busy with those crups to be bothered by this.” Mostly, he didn’t want to draw attention to himself after trying to tamper with the cage and then dropping said cage. Plus, it would be embarrassing to enquire about a pet that he had no money to pay for it.

Au-ROAAARA. That would be how he greeted her the next time he would see her. At Hogwarts, no doubt. Solomon was a little bit of an explorer and was surprised he hadn’t recognised her face before from his people watching adventures. “Oh, are you? I’m in Slytherin, me-self.” He said proudly.

Aurora would happily live in a fairytale world rather than the real world if she could. She was lucky that her Ma was a realist otherwise the girl would have her head up in the clouds all the time. With all the events that had occurred at Hogwarts in the years previous, perhaps it was a good thing that Rora was fairly sheltered from the evils of the world. “A tarantula?! No! They’re not cuddly enough. I’d want a Pygmy Puff or a Kneazle.” Something sweet and soft and with much fewer legs. “I don’t think my sister would like one much.” Or her Mom for that matter. The family would stick to their short legged muggle cat instead. Aurora wasn’t certain whether Solomon was taking any notice of what she was saying but she was happy to talk at him anyway. That was one of her talents, the ability to talk non-stop.

“See what?” she asked, following his gaze towards the spider. She hasn’t seen anything.

A teeny tiny smirk befell her lips as Solly denied the idea of asking the shopkeeper, knowing that it was probably because he was scared of getting into trouble. Aurora would never do anything naughty, not whilst there was the chance of getting in trouble anyway. “Would your parents let you take Brutus home?” It would take an awful lot of persuasion for Aurora to convince her parents to let her take home any of these creatures let alone a tarantula.

The petite blonde didn’t want to stereotype but she could’ve guessed that Solomon was a Slytherin. If he was a Gryffindor, he probably would’ve been brazen enough to try to free the tarantula without a care in the world. Slytherins were much more sneaky about it and cared about getting into trouble. “I asked the Sorting Hat to put me in Ravenclaw. My whole family are Claws!” Immediate family anyway, her cousins were all sorted into different houses and her Uncle had been a Slytherin.
