It was true there was nothing that the Beery twins really needed in Diagon Alley currently, but Drake had begged and pleased that they be allowed to take a trip during the summer when all of the Hogwarts school kids would be out and about and prepping for the new term. He'd argued that it was important, because maybe they could meet some of the kids freshly starting and then even have older friends by the time it was his and Gilly's turn September 2111. Their mother really hadn't needed that much convincing though, perhaps his spiel had really been for his sister.

But either way... they'd been permitted to have the trip. And so far it'd been a lovely day! But they only had a couple hours left now, and when Gilly requested to be about to go to Flourish and Blotts well... he knew that was the rest of the trip and the genuinely energetic boy sullened slightly. Until a brilliant idea came to his mind, and once again puppy dog eyes were used to persuade his mother to sit at Florean's alone while they did their shopping.

It was only after many, many promises of not moving a muscle once she'd seen him carefully seated at a table, that he would be allowed. It was also clear that if he were to mess up this chance now, he and Gilly would be watched like hawks next summer. So... he had every intention of not messing it up. Once his ice cream had been gotten and his mother paid, he waved at her as he skipped to the outside seating area and glanced around for where he was setting up shop. Spotting a familiar face, Drake paused for the slightest moment before approaching him. "Hi! Aryan, is it? Can I sit with you?" If he said yes, maybe mom would be even more appeased he had company. Plus... it'd be good to know more of his St. Woboldo's classmates instead of just his twin.
