Kimothée Chalamet • The UWU Agenda • Once Baby, Now Trouble • All Growed Up It was Flo's first time inside Ollivander's. She'd stood for many summers outside the shop's window, watching other kids get their wands and generally just observing the people inside, the shopkeeper included. She had been apprehensive about the idea of a magical measuring tape touching her, but she knew that it eventually had to happen. She had been debriefed about it, and reassured that it would be no harm. She believed it, of course, but it didn't mean she'd be totally okay with it. But she had to be, you know? She'll be fine. She'll probably go hug Lori after this, because she'd deserve it.
Flo kept a safe distance between everyone in line, wrapping her arms around herself so that the space she occupied in the shop would be smaller, at least in her point of view. She didn't want anyone accidentally bumping into her, although she also acknowledged the fact that there was a huge possibility of that happening. When it was her turn to be measured, Flo kept her eyes on the tape, never once letting it out of her sight so it wouldn't surprise her. Except it was very rude of the tape to be measuring height. She gave it a little scowl. Yeah, she's tiny. For now. Watch her grow so much taller in the years to come.
After the measuring tape looked satisfied with her measurements, Flo relaxed a bit more and let out a breath she didn't realise she was holding the entire time, but still kept her arms around herself. The hard part was done.
