Maria was growing into a young woman of 14 years going on 15 and thus she had grown a few more inches over the summer which made her hogwarts clothes too small. She needed a whole new collection, and luckily for her Vera was accompying her on this trip to the clothes store, and not her dads or merlin forbid her brother. Standing in a booth try on a new skirt and white blouse Maria called out to her friend "Vera, do you think I should get a pair of trousers too and a dress?" A dress would be lovely, but they didn't have any special events next year did they? "I'm really glad you could come with me, I wouldn't have wanted to go, and try clothes with my brother Emari in tow which I would have been forced to do if you hadn't accepted." It would have been a challenge for her patience and her mood. Trying out clothes was fun but doing it with Vera she knew would be an extra plus.
