Her gaze looking over things curiously.
She had stopped at the one with the moving portraits when she heard a girl’s voice speaking of learning how to do it. “Certainly, would be cool…” she mused aloud, returning her own comment to the other girl as she moved in the direction the voice had come from around the cart, finding an older Gryffindor she’d seen around. Art projects were one thing…magical ones had to be oh so much better. “Hey…” she greeted with a smile.
She often had a bad habit of saying things out loud and not really considering who was around, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing outside of the fact that it never failed to scare her when there was a response. Which was why her head whipped when someone spoke up and she blinked at the girl - a younger Gryffindor if she remembered correctly - now standing near her. It was good she adjusted and recovered from the fright generally pretty quickly.
"Maybe if we all ask Professor Sayse reaaaaally nicely she'll show us." She DID do some art stuff last term which had been fun!
At the greeting Vera grinned back, offering her hand in greeting hello.
"Hi! I'm Vera. You're a Hogwarts student too, right?" She was pretty sure majority of people were Hogwarts students but... there was the occasional privately tutored or visiting student from other schools. So even if she was fairly certain she'd SEEN this student, it was better to be safe than sorry.
