Almost. But, to be fair, she had brought it upon herself with the face squishing and what she could not honestly deny as being a flirtatious comment. Her eyes were rolling on reflex alone before she could even begin to process the thought. "You're just going to have to mull that over," she hummed while giving his cheeks another couple of squishes and rounded out the will-she-won't-she gesture with an almost brush of her lips against his, but instead was a very close air kiss. "Never will a woman reveal all her secrets. She is the only one who will ever know them all," she added with a coy wink and then finally released him from her playful grip and took a small hop back.
She didn't even know what exactly she was doing here so...good luck figuring that puzzle out, Lio. When you did, maybe you could fill Sadie in as well. Much appreciated. It seemed they had come to an agreement on their run schedules, so that was good. Especially since the conversation had taken a turn Lio wouldn't have expected prior to this very moment.
Not that he minded. He was incredibly amused by her response.
And a bit confused too, to be honest. Because it didn't exactly answer his question. It wasn't really a "yes" or a "no," but somehow something...in the middle? Or neither? Then again, if she didn't want him to flirt with her, he was sure she would've given him a straightforward no and wouldn't have almost kissed him. For a split second, he had thought she was going to. But it was only almost, so...it still didn't feel like an admission of yes either???
Yeah, definitely confused. Amused and confused.
The smile returned again once she'd released his face. "I suppose that's fair," he said, leaning towards her just a little bit and lowering his voice. Not to a whisper, but just a bit quieter than a normal outside voice, so only she could hear. "A little mystery is fun too." And he added a wink of his own.
