"That would be a choice to break up in front of them," Dash commented. He guessed? Hmm.. "Well, I'll be there.. boyfriend," He would just have to work a little harder to make it permanent.
It was an invitation. In all honesty, Rafael had almost bitten his tongue for making such a bold statement when he still was quite bewildered about his thoughts and feelings. ‘Almost’ because he had dug it into his brain firmly almost immediately that Dash had initiated the flirting; which meant clearly that the other man didn’t mind being flirted with. This train of thought was broken when it registered that Dash was leaning in to…
KISS HIM.
Dash actually kissed him! It was a cheek one but Rafa would take that as a win! And now he was flailing happily internally like a kid on Christmas morning. There was a goofy smile on his face and he felt like a pile of Rafa goo, as though his insides had melted in happiness.
It was quite clear: Rafa was seriously attracted to Dash. There was no way for him to deny it. “Um… uh huh.” You were forgiven, Dash, just excuse him for not being capable of thinking quite clearly at the moment. Perhaps that was why the question just got blurted right out: “Do you want to ‘break up’?" |
