"I cannot stress enough how much I love tattoos." She blushed. "I mean, uh, your tattoos especially! I'm not just enabling you to get more because tattoos in general are nice." She absolutely was. Buuuut she did really like his design and thought it looked great.

"It's so good for him. Though I do find myself having doubts whenever I get letters from him. I can't help it, you know? He just seems so settled, and happy, and fine- I guess it's just hard for me to believe that anyone could be like that at Hogwarts. But it's a much nicer place now, true." She worried anyway. Not too much, but a little. She doubted that particular worry would go away. "Yes! My boyfriend is a Hufflepuff! But he always says he's studying when I try and secretly trick him into hanging out with my brother. I think he's caught on. And I think my brother is instantly suspicious of any potential boyfriend." She sighed, then laughed. "He's a funny kid. I think I'm the one protecting him and then I find him looking out for me. It's very sweet. But it also feels very strange." It was strange to have a little brother who acted like a much older one when she was the much older one. She thought she knew why, and it made her sad, so she stopped thinking about it. "I love him so much."

He smiled at the examples she chose, a small chuckle escaping. "You're right, those are very different things. Although I would hope any time of day and you wouldn't choose a very stupid life change - not if you actually thing it's stupid." Life changes in themselves were fine - the chosen descriptive words could be red or green flags, though. That was what he was finding to be one of the more fun things about friendship - the differences in how their brains worked, what decisions they chose, interests. Similarities were nice too, but he found he celebrated the differences more.

"That is genius idea." A first meet was definitely better, though he wasn't sure where they could have that happen. An idea for later when it was time to act upon the thought, he supposed. "I would hope we would never reach dire but.. it's absolutely better to be a test run." Because yes, a fight may take two - but an injury only took one.

He smiled fondly, taking a sip of his drink before replying. "It's okay, that's one of the things I know about you." Which was why he'd shared his new tattoo to begin with. The time they'd spent on temporary tattoos after learning the charm for creating them had certainly been a fair amount. "I'll take the enabling no matter the motivation."

Another idea he understood completely. Their experiences with Hogwarts had been very different (hopefully) than what her brother's was. But given the trauma they'd endured, it was hard to not be suspicious and fearful for other people still there - especially ones they cared about and no longer were there to protect. Or never been there with them, as it was for her and her brother. "Hopefully it stays that way. He deserves to be able to enjoy his time and relish in the magic." Lisa had gotten a lot of that experience too, and he'd been endlessly glad for it. Not all the Nam's needed to have sleepless nights remembering some of their Hogwarts days. "Is your boyfriend not a social person?" He assumed that's why he would make excuses - though he could understand Brandon's suspicion too. He was like that for his siblings partners too. He wondered if they would be too if he'd ever found someone, and yet given how desperately his sisters seemed to want to set him up with someone - he didn't think that would be the case. "It sounds like you guys are really close."
