Brandon felt a rush of power as he and Vera defeated the kappa. He looked at it, and then he felt very sad. It looked all messed up. "Is it going to be okay, professor?" he whispered. "I guess it's not even real. But still?" He wanted to be told that he didn't really really hurt the fake kappa by accident. Even though it was only a construction, it made his heart all hurt. But he didn't want to admit it, because normal people didn't pity dark-creature-replica-robots. But it LOOKED real and it LOOKED hurt to him.
He did like getting presents. This one was cute AND useful in case he ever saw a real kappa and had to defend himself. But still, he was worried about his fake kappa!!! |
