It's too bad Vasco's headphones were still on, because as Papa assured there were no conditions it occurred to her that he might not have heard him. Which was especially too bad because Papa called her idea smart. Look at that! Even the little lioness could use her brain to make up plans sometimes. "I agree, Papa! So even after summer Scoot can test it with you and Vasco and I can with the house elves! But perhaps you should also write a letter to whoever the new Headmaster is and let him know of our new dietary needs. You know, just in case." Look at that, she was even thinking of the little details!

Maybe Vasco WAS listening to the conversation, because she could tell he and Scooter both also turned to look at Papa after her question. She should have thought to ask it much sooner, but typical of a small child she was really only focused on herself and her needs. Now that was in her teens and becoming ~mature~ only did she start considering other people too. But even then... her growth was still minimal, considering it was only those she was really really really close to that got that consideration. Which made it then seem fitting that Papa and this moment was actually probably the first. His answer was... unsatisfactory. Because they were gone for a really long time and that meant he was lonely for all that time too! And next term it would be all three of them. "... But... what will you do when Scooter goes with us next year?" Should she ask to home school? She didn't really want to because she LOVED Hogwarts but....

maybe if it was for Papa.

Or... maybe they should try to help him date? She didn't really love that idea either but.. she glanced over at her twin. Maybe it was something they should talk about later too.
