Vera had opened her mouth to retort that the scarf was naturally not for NOW, but rather to cover the fact that he DID look nice which was making her uncomfortable. Her whole purpose today was to figure out how to get other people to want to tell her she was pretty. Not to notice other people were starting to fill out and then ogle. But she realized that if she DID try to defend herself in anyway, she would have probably just spilled out something embarrassing. And while Logan had heard a lot of embarrassing things come out of her mouth (most of them things that entirely hadn't bothered her), any of her thoughts on the results of stupid puberty were not something she wanted either of the two boys to ever hear. So for once, in order to play it safe, Vera just shut her mouth, settling for an extra eye roll.
Now they both had commentary about the shirts. And while yes, Vasco would have had a point she was... not the queen of fashion, that was the point of being here right now. And she had read multiple books at the beginning of summer on how best to draw attention to features. Granted, the author's of the books could have been quacks but... for now, this was the only point of reference she had. Even if their reaction to the had her currently questioning the validity of the author's expertise. "Yes, maroon. Gold is supposed to be best to contrast our green eyes and accentuate the flecks in them but... I think you both have been abundantly clear on your feelings on that color." Plus, maroon was nice. It was her favorite shade of red, which was probably surprising since it wasn't nearly as BOLD as others. "And as for you," Attention turned back to Logan. "Go with whatever you want. BUT the brown is supposed to compliment your blue eyes and make them really POP." Here she used her hands to really emphasize. "Girls like eyes and yours aren't terrible." It was also just a really nice color palette, brown and blue.
Her eyes were still wanting to bulge at having been compared to a troll, but he was seeming to drop it so.... she'd have to get over it for the time being. Perhaps find a way to get back at him later. But nearly as soon as she'd come to the conclusion, he was mentioning trolls again. ashdsj. She forced a smile onto her face, batting her eyes a bit. "I think you're confusing that with the veela tapestry." Was there even one of those? Who knew. But aNyWaYs.. Silver? She wanted to scrunch her nose at their suggestion, mainly because it was not a color she particularly liked, BUT she was going to be the bigger person in this instance and just... take their suggestion. So turning to the racks, she found a silver dress and pulled it off to hold it up. "Like this one?" See. She'd try it. Logan's comment regarding the twirling did get her attention for a moment longer, and she blinked at him. "So you liked the twirl?"
