Violeta Escalante was here on a mission. She had a list full of things she wanted and a grandfather full of money. The old man waited outside while she dove into a shopping adventure. The old man was, well, too OLD to be shopping. Violeta was in her prime at TWELVE years old. You heard it right! She was no longer eleven. She was also an incoming SECOND year Gryffindor.
Delicately flicking her long, thick brown locks behind her shoulder, the young Escalante took her sunglasses off and tucked them back into her designer purse. In exchange she brandished a list.
Invisibility cloak. Necessary if she wanted to sneak around. Probably won’t fool her dad. Hmm. Might wait on that one. Rememberall. Definitely a NEED because she was notorious for forgetting about homework. Not her fault they all had different deadlines. Rude. Anti-Burglary buzzar for her new broomstick. She was getting a new one and she trusted no one. Then again, her dad is the Flying Instructor. Maybe he could keep hers safe. Howler. For yelling at people without exhausting her beautiful voice.
Last, a MAGICAL CAMERA!!!!!!
She’s been dreaming of one ever since she got into taking selfies. And now that she has a baby brother and he was starting to walk and all the new Hogwarts adventures, she had more reasons for a camera.
It was the main reason she brought her grandfather. Her dad and mom would NEVER agree to buy her all of these things. No. She had to save up her money in order to learn the “value” of things. And that just because she came from money it doesn’t mean she’ll be spoiled. That’s what grandparents were for. Grandpa Phabian ADORES her and he had no patience when it came to her constantly SIGHING. Easy-peasy.
Now. To the first thing on her list. The invisibility cloaks.
