Nora smiled and shrugged. "It's okay," she replied. Her parents had already overwhelmed her anyway. They weren't magical, but they'd pulled out every book they could possibly find and read every detail they possibly could. They'd randomly spewed out information that mostly went in one of Nora's ears and out the other. She ignored them, because she hated the fact that she was a witch, but now she was wishing she'd at least remembered some of it.

"Magical communities," she repeated. "I just want to go back home and live in the muggle world." Yes, she was about to do that today after shopping for her school supplies, but soon enough she'd be shipped off to this strange new school to learn all these strange new things. She shrugged again. "I don't know for sure, but the people who came and talked to my parents about me being a witch said that I probably have ancestors from way back when who were witches and wizards. It just decided to randomly show up again when I was born." Lucky her. [/sarcasm]

Her eyebrows raised upward then wrinkled in confusion. "That's a lot of kids," she said, not able to hold her tongue. That was just too many people to have sibling arguments with! "Well, Charlie's a muggle, and Beatrix and Adelaide, well...I guess we'll know for sure in seven years." She hadn't decided if it'd be a good thing or a bad thing for the twins to be magical, but if they were, at least Nora wouldn't be all alone anymore. She changed her expression to a smile. Nancy. This girl was technically her first magical friend.
