"I'm Daniel... I'm in Hufflepuff" he uttered, much to his dismay. He was still annoyed at the Sorting Hat for refusing to place him in Ravenclaw.

Having gotten used to the house question pretty early on (a.k.a. second year), Finn wasn't at all taken aback by the sudden question. "I'm a Gryffindor," he said, standing up a little taller. Not because he was trying to be taller than the other boy, but he did want to portray his house in the best way possible, which instinctively meant better posture.

Finn nodded as the boy explained more about his O.W.L.s...reaction. Setting goals was good. He frowned a bit, not reallly wanting to be worried already, but he did want to take the exams seriously so... "Do you have any...study...tips?" he asked. He'd meant to ask about a study guide, but decided mid sentence it was probably not great to ask someone he'd just met for a favor like that.

At the introduction, Finn gave a big smile. "Hufflepuff? Cool!" He wished he could be that close to the kitchens. "What do you....like to read?" he added curiously.
