Nora had been in the Alley for a few hours now, and she still hadn't gotten used to anything. Everywhere she turned, there was something new and unusual. She still didn't want this magical world. She had been so happy with the life she was living, and now this---a store that sold cloaks and gobstones and whatever else this was. She knew she should be giving it a better chance than she was, but the bitterness was still outweighing any other emotion. She tried not to let this show on her face as she walked the aisles of the shop.

A howler? Whatever that was, it looked like something she didn't want to get involved in. They had a games aisle, and even though she wasn't familiar with any of them, she browsed them anyway. She finally came upon an aisle of telescopes, which grabbed her interest seeing as she was supposedly taking some kind of class where'd she use them. There was a girl her age there, and had Nora been in any better mood, she might have greeted her right away. A few seconds passed. "Hi," she finally said, a tone of awkwardness to her voice. Ahem. "Hogwarts student?"

Hopefully people here didn't get all weird about stranger danger or anything like that...
