Complex maybe. He had space for both the magical and mundane in his life just as he had both wizards and muggles on both sides of his family history. It was all about what one preferred. “Great minds think a like then…” he remarked as he spotted what was in her basket. Notebooks of the muggle persuasion like the ones he was looking for. “Ink to be prepared for the new job….” The intern mused, shifting to move back the way she had come to spot what she had found. “Notebook for a personal project," he added with it raised so she could see before adding it to his own basket. There was a bit of instant regret at her use of 'mundane' and for a flicker of a moment she wondered when she had become so jaded as to reference these auspicious tools as 'mundane'. With a pencil one could create an entire world on paper, rich with grayscale and infinite possibility. It was a curiosity she did not permit herself to linger on for too long, not in the present company, and offered him a delighted smile that easily twinkled in her eyes and playfully stuck her tongue out him.
"Oh? Congratulations," she rejoined, her arms flying upwards and clapping above her head. "That's exciting to be embarking on a new adventure." Candela then picked up a more slender notebook. "Where are you---," she began inquiring as she flipped through the blank pages of the notebook, just to get a feel for it, when suddenly a couple of the pages ripped right out of the binding and fluttered to the floor - the rest of the book's binding in a questionable disarray. "Oh...my...nargles at it again I suppose," she sighed while crouching down to retrieve the fleeing pages
