Looking sideways at the girl beside her, taking in her age Maria smiled friendily. "Hi! Yes, you can take Ancient Runes at school, when you start your third year. It sounds cool to write runes, don't you think?" After reaching up to take the book down listed on her list she introduced herself. "I'm Maria, by the way and I'm in badger house and third year at Hogwarts. Who are you?" She asked curiously.

Thankfully the older girl was nice and not dismissive of her. Nadia couldn't help her interest in all the things. “Hi,” she echoed, smiling back at her. “Yeah it would be,” she agreed. Having the ability to create things, especially magical things would be so much fun. Alas she would have to wait until third year. If she hadn’t found a whole slew of other things to study in the meantime.

“I’m Nadia….and a first year.” So of course, she didn’t know her house yet. She was kinda hoping to either be a puff like her Daddy or a lion like her Papa though. Raj could be an eagle on his own with all his books. And then she wouldn't have to have her older sibling looking over her shoulder all the time. She could escape to her own common room. Oh look...there was the astronomy book she needed, Nadia reaching to grab it off the nearby shelf.
