5th year - Yoon Manor
Seated at the dining table for breakfast with his older brother, Daniel picked up a piece of scallion pancake from a plate. His parents and the staff were already working but he didn't care. He had been silent all morning, waiting nervously for a special letter to be delivered. When he looked out the window, his face paled when he saw an owl flying their way. He jumped up, spilling his cup of coffee on the table, and dashed to the window to let the owl in.
"Did you get your OWL exam results?" Daniel nodded, and after his brother convinced him, he opened it with trembling hands.
”And?” Minjae asked from the other side of the long table
”I…I failed” He sat back down on the chair with his hands in his hair. A moment later, the paper was snatched away as his older brother read his results in disbelief.
