Welcome, friends!

For those who don’t know me, I’m Rhi, and this is my third year participating in Seektober. I was on the fence about participating this year because I have less time and resources than in years past. I’m not good at drawing or graphics, and my usual art form, doll customization, takes a lot of time and money to do. It took me some time to come up with something I could do with the materials I have on hand, which is why I’m starting so late in the game, but I’m up for the challenge (I hope!).

I’ll be attempting the Apparecium Challenge with a series of handmade friendship bracelets, and I’ll be incorporating my love of musical theater by tying each prompt to a song from a musical. To further challenge myself, I’m going by the following rules:

- All songs must have been written for a musical. This means that shows using pre-existing music, like Mama Mia or Moulin Rouge, won’t appear on the list. Neither will many songs from Disney musicals which first appeared in movies.

- Multiple songs from the same musical will be limited. There will be a couple of repeats on the list, but for the most part, I’ve tried to avoid using multiple songs from the same show.
