His hand moving back down to his side. He had no desire to make the shopkeeper upset and risk being barred from such an establishment. That would not be the way to go in the grand scheme of things, especially if the potential boss ever sent him for supplies. “Professor Vance?” he remarked in answer, randomly thinking back to any and all professors with wise words during school and for some reason the Divinations Professor had come to mind thinking on memories. Of course, he knew it wasn’t her but he was playing along with the guessing game and not giving in just yet having some clue who it might be by the choice of words. That and he couldn't think of anyone else that would do such a thing. Certainly no wise professor here, school had never particularly been one of her strengths and had not even completed her seventh year nor taken any of her NEWTs, but there was a certain tickling warmth that he would presume her to be one. She may know this Professor Vance as well, though if she did she had misplaced the memory of them, but it was a potential walk down memory lane that would be postponed for at least a bit more.
"Not...exactly," she laughed. Lowering her hands on her next breath, Candela sidestepped with a playful pivot around to his left side and smiled broadly up at him with her pearly whites. "Olá, Septimus. It's lovely to see you again." Her warm eyes glanced at the shelf he had been pondering and plucked from it a regular black from somewhere in the middle of the row of the display. "I have a good feeling about this one," she added with a wink as she set it in his basket.
