Blushing was something that as a general rule, Davet did not do much of. It had taken a long time for him to learn to keep himself composed as often as possible - something needed for being on stage. There was no editing to be done when you were live. But everything about today and the surprisingness of it all had him feeling unusually disarmed. Though it was certainly all very GOOD surprises.
Squeezing Jude's hand and grinning like a buffoon, he simply chuckled at the other boys comment of being distraction - his head nodding in agreement. "It was an excellent distraction." Not that Davet thought himself anything akin to 'excellence' but... the kiss certainly had been, and that was very much where his mind still was. He followed along after Jude when they meandered out doors, taking the spot indicated on the swing and using one foot to gently push forward. The comment about his maman certainly caught him off guard, but Dav laughed and nodded in agreement. "She'll be incredibly happy. I'm sure she'll ask immediately when you can next come over for dinner."
As if she hadn't asked that already when Dav left that morning.
Continuing to push the swing lazily with his foot, he turned to direct his grinning face at Jude. "So what do you want to do this summer?" Their first official date as boyfriends could be the next thing they planned.
