Brody felt like a little boy on Christmas Day. The entire set up of this place was off the hook! He even forgot about the boyfriend - who was looking hubba hubba, by the way - for a bit as he gazed around at everything that had been set up so perfectly. That was why he was slightly behind Gabe to enter the cavern. But he did catch up a short second or two later.

Val, Missa, Peggy, Rosemary {the ladies each got a wave from him} and Ronan. There was no sign of his uncle but Brody was certain the Quidditch Division Head was somewhere around.

Catching Gabe’s gaze in Ronan’s direction, he said, “Come on. We should mingle and there’s no one better you should start with than the man who helped keep your boyfriend safe.” Chuckling, Brody started to lead the way to Ronan. He had, of course, been referring to that showdown sometime back between that vampire and Ronan, Damian and himself.
