Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Okay, that actually made him feel a little better that another first year was asking for help. At least he wasn't the only one and wouldn't feel singled out! But when the professor asked him to clarify, Phoenix hesitated. He'd like to be able to do it himself right now, but he was frustrated and felt like he was running out of class time to do the activity that everyone else was doing. "You can just cast it for me," he answered, after a very brief consideration. "I'll practice it on my own some more after class." And he did mean that. He felt very foolish not being able to cast the spell when nearly everyone else could (even if most of them were older and more experienced than him). But he would practice it till he got it right on his own. For now, he'd appreciate it if the professor could do it for him so he could finish up before the end of class.
