On his way over to Professor Carton, Jude paused to observe the obstacle course. Having been at Hogwarts for five years now, he was quite used to these as they popped up frequently as part of class and club activities. Still, they never failed to not spark his interest. Jude was particularly interested in the balance beam; it reminded him of his Hideaway spot at the park not far from his home. Balancing was something that came easily to him; must be because he was a dancer and being graceful came with the territory.
“Good afternoon, Professor,” the Hufflepuff greeted in his quiet tone. The bounciness was still very much absent but at least he was here, wasn’t he, and making an effort? |
