Potions-related anything gave Cass a couple of very conflicted feelings. She didn't hate the class. It was because her mum was great at it, and the Stylinsons were great at it, and everyone close to her family and their mums were also probably great at it. She personally wasn't bad at it, but she wasn't great good. Above average wasn't excellent even if she had set her mind on going down the non-academic, Quidditch path like her dad.
Neither was she a member of the Potions club. The most appealing aspect of taking part in this potions ingredients hunt was the outdoor element of the activity. Cass missed summer more than anything, and soon enough there wouldn't be so much sun to enjoy. "Hi, sir. Hope there's space for one more," the Gryffindor saluted at the potions master.
Cass was more than pleased to see Jasper there, her U17 teammate. They had an eventful season just this summer, though it had been her last. The scouts have to fight over her soon to recruit her. They just have to. But anyway, she watched as Jasper tossed that football at Professor Hernandez' direction. Looked fun. What if they played some sport instead?
