There was probably a metaphor in there somewhere with all that, but he let it escape him for now. Working on this whole...trying not to overthinking things too much.

Celyn casually watched him as he got situated. Cooper was adorably ridiculous at times, (or was it ridiculously adorable?) but she appreciated his need for respectfully asking permission. Even though she always welcomed his company, it was nice for him to make sure she didn't prefer to be alone as people sometimes did.

"Yes, I suppose that we do," she mused as she lowered her eyes to her list. It really was growing and if they didn't get started soon to do at least some of the things, they'd run out of time to cross all the items off. "Oh! I thought it might be fun to see if there really is a secret passage underneath the Whomping Willow," she grinned showing him that addition to the list. "What do you think?" Dangerous, but they could be careful.
