(Although she did enjoy watching him laugh.) ”But Daaddddy…’ she whined hoping to get his attention again.

Conley knew that tone. Someone was feeling jealous again. He didn’t blame her. Not always at least. She was too young to fully understand that Levi needed more attention then she did right now. ”Alright mon coeur. That’s enough. Daddy’s right. They’ll still be there if we don’t go see them right away. Let’s go see the fairies. “ They were in the direction Radhika was tugging them and would likely be a good distraction. He glanced up at Sachin with a smile. Stubborn though she was, Conley loved their daughter.

Oh no... Papa was using his unhappy voice. Radhika looked up at him, lip trembling a little until - Fairies? If there was something Radhika loved more then unicorns it was fairies. They too were sparkly and shiny and they flied! "Ohhhkay. Come-on Daddy!" She giggled and then let go of Daddy's hand and started marching off. Again, in the wrong direction.

Of course Radika’s tugging on his hand was nothing more to Sachin than her pulling on his finger when she was just a newborn. That’s how he thought of it, anyway. Which made it all the more unbelievable to him that she was growing up so quickly and had already learnt to walk and talk to an extent. Yes, he knew he could be a pushover most of the time, especially when it came to their daughter but he was trying to curb that habit. One of the last things he and Conley needed was Radhika to grow up spoiled by getting whatever she wanted. Sachin met those big brown eyes {so much like his}, quite prepared to attempt once more to convince her to behave because goodness! This child could be stubborn!

Sachin in turn knew that tone of Conley’s. He was about to lightly chastise his husband if Radhika cried but there was no need. He simply laughed as he watched the little girl pull away and started off in the wrong direction. “Radhi! You’re going the wrong way.” Then he grinned over at Con. “She gets her stubbornness from you,” he teased fondly. Radhika was not biologically either of theirs but had a few of the mens’ traits. Who could tell if more would be developed later? The man casually glanced down at Levi as they set off again. “Imagine he sleeps through all of his sister’s loud tantrums,’’ he mused. Levi certainly {so far} was the quieter of their two children.
